Cost per entry is $12, and each entry receives a 6-minute performance slot. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, January 17th.

This festival is named in memory of Dr. Victor Showalter, former Professor of Music at Northwest College, who started the festival in 1975.

Adjudicators will rate all completed performances as SuperiorGood, or Fair. Please familiarize your students with the rating system. Superior ratings will receive a blue ribbon and a certificate. Ratings of Good and Fair will receive certificates only. Each adjudicator will select the best performance for their area and a Musicianship Award will be mailed to the students’ director.
